I LOVE me a good sauce, dip, or dressing! I believe you can make just about any food taste good with the right one. I mean think about it, even something nasty is easier to choke down with the right sauce, dip or dressing, right!? Right! It’s true what they say, the sauce really IS boss!
Here, I want to share with you guys this Homemade Bitchin’ Sauce recipe that has been a hit in my home for years. Anyone that has had Bitchin’ Sauce knows it is the bomb! And, homemade is even better…IMO! This is one of those recipes that’s super good and super versatile. We use it as a dip with tortilla chips, a taco sauce, a dip with raw veggies, a burrito bowl sauce, and more!
Now I have to tell you…this sauce recipe is SUPER SIMPLE (duh). Just get all the ingredients, put them in a blender (or food processor), and mix.
Super simple, right?
Homemade Bitchin’ Sauce (GF & VEGAN)
1/2 cup almonds
1 cup water
1/2 cup grapeseed oil
3 tbsp. nutritional yeast
2 tsp. Braggs liquid aminos
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 small garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. coriander
1/4 tsp. paprika
Don’t mind me. I’m just chillin on the couch enjoying the fruit of my labor. 😂

Can I use a different oil?
Hey Ruth! Yes, avocado oil would be your best next option. I actually prefer to use it over grapeseed oil if I have enough on hand. I just recommend staying away from olive oil or any oil with a strong aftertaste. These type of oils will completely alter the taste of the sauce.
